The roller coaster of emotions every four weeks. If the most natural thing in the world does not work, systemic and transgenerative fertility counseling can support and stabilize unwanted childless people in a resource-oriented manner. Unintentionally childless - people who are shaken to their foundations feel shame and powerlessness, old biographical wounds break open. The desire to have children as a private, political, ethical and, above all, controversial topic with regard to reproductive medicine requires those affected to adopt a separate attitude. The author shows the topicality of the discourse and shows on the basis of various constellations in practical examples how singles and couples can actively check and weigh up their values, wishes and ideas. In this way the longing for a child can be seen as a resource and used as a process as a hint for a worthwhile design of everyday life. A child cannot be replaced, but a happy life can be achieved even without a child. This volume is aimed at therapists, counselors, coaches, all those affected and their relatives. Systemic methods and a transgenerational perspective, for example by integrating the desired child into the family system, are good and successful companions in advising clients.
