Does This Baby Make Me Look Straight? is a warm and funny look at one man's adventures in fatherhood. Bucatinsky had been with his partner Don for 12 years when they decided to have a child. By the end of 2004, they were matched with a birth mother-a chain smoking, binge drinking, tattooed teen from Wisconsin. Eliza Rose was born in March of 2005. Two and a half years later, the same woman delivered a baby boy, Jonah, into their arms as well. During that time, and since then, Bucatinsky has written a collection of essays that detail his adventures as a new father.
