Sorcerer’s apprentice Samara is elated by the rescue of the dragons, but that feeling is soon squashed as the risks of being caught increase. Not knowing who in the Sacred Flame coterie is involved has Samara on edge, especially when she and her dragon, Ulrieg, are spotted in places they shouldn’t be.

Powerful head sorceress Callista embarks on a journey to find a sacred crystal to add to her collection, taking Samara and a couple of other apprentices. Samara discovers shocking truths along the way as Ulrieg scrambles to sabotage the mission.
