Roy Wild was born in the East End of London in the 1930s. This book tells his life story from surviving bombing raids during the Second Wold War to growing up and becoming part of Londons underworld. It chronicles his time in prison and how he turned his life around recounting his time spent within the Diplomatic Corps his experience as a lockkeeper on the River Stort and finally his life as a successful company director in the licensed trade.
