The Origins of Larvae - Hardback - 2003
Williamson, Donald I. (University of Liverpool, Port Erin Marine Laboratory, Isle of Man, UK)
Resumo
Many biological facts are irreconcilable with the assumption that larvae and adults evolved from the same genetic stock. Drawing attention to these, the author presents his alternative hypothesis that larvae have been transferred from one taxon to another. He claims that the basic forms of all larvae have been transferred from foreign taxa.
