Bagpipes - 77. Slow Airs - Marches - With Nordic/Scandinavian Accent, Made For Beginners, Experienced And Solists

The idea of this book was to compose music for beginners and experienced pipers. I have done so with the aim of getting more beginners and new pipers in the pipe band world to be more interested in playing the bagpipes, and therefore the level is very variable in the melodies. I hope that more beginners to the bagpipes in this book can find one or more tunes they can play without much difficulty, and in this way get more pleasure from playing the bagpipes alone (solo) or together with others. There are also tunes of a slightly more difficult nature for the more experienced pipers to play. The tunes are created to be played on all types of bagpipes (Smallpipes, Shuttlepipes and Highland Bagpipes) which use the Scottish way of fingering. Remember to play slowly and poetically like a Ground/Urlar in a Piobaireachd/Ceol Mor.
